Heather's Ride 2014!

Welcome back to Friends 4 Eva and the Heather Lynne Siebert Memorial Ride.

The 2014 ride will be held on July 19th at Laconia Harley Davidson in Meredith New Hampshire. We will begin staging and registration at 7:30 am with kick stands up at 9:00 am sharp. Your registration/donation of $35.00 per person will include all the fixens for a great day!!! T-shirt, live music from a local band and more food than you can imagine. And lots of great raffle prizes too! Pre-register before July 12th and get $5.00 off! The rain date if needed will be Sunday July 20th.

Esplanade Events moved to July 3rd

Due to the pending weather on Friday, July 4th all Boston July 4th Esplanade Events, including both the Boston Pops concert and fireworks, have been moved to Thursday, July 3, 2014.

The following road closures will occur tomorrow, Thursday July 3rd:

Storrow Drive will be closed in both directions at 12:00 p.m.

Memorial Drive, Mass Ave Bridge and Longfellow Bridge will be closed at 6:00 p.m.

The public will be allowed to start entering the checkpoints, into the secure area on the Esplanade, starting at 5:00 p.m.

Virginia W. Mahar, 87

Virginia W. Mahar, 87, of Hopkinton, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Matalives) and Joseph Nogelo. She was the wife of the late James P. Mahar who passed in 1988.

Virginia was a member at the Hopkinton Senior Center and volunteered at the Michael Lisnow Respite Center. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, walking and gardening.

Patricia Bagley, 87

Patricia Bagley, 87, of Hopkinton, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Pierce) and Lawrence Ciccarelli. She was the wife of the late Thomas M. Bagley who passed April 1999.

The joys of Patricia's life were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her garden, baking, sewing, music and caring for her pets.
