Hopkinton Center for the Arts' Young Artists Exhibit opens with a reception and prize ceremony.

Artists ages 5-18 from Hopkinton, Milford, Upton, Franklin, Wrentham, and Grafton have entered artwork into the show in various media. Prizes will be awarded in two categories: Children’s (ages 5-11) and Youth Art (ages 12-18).

When: Saturday, June 14th from 3-4:30 pm

Hopkinton Parks and Rec Partners with HCA for Summer Concert Series

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts and the Hopkinton Parks and Recreation department have partnered to produce and sponsor the Summer Concert Series on the Hopkinton Common. Additionally, the concert series is sponsored in part by the Barbara Corbett-Dobson and Dave Dobson Memorial Fund. The free series begins June 20th and runs through mid-August, with each concert featuring headlining musical acts as well as children’s entertainment, providing a full family experience.

Last Day to Mail Thank-A-Teacher Recognitions

So far, over 170 Hopkinton educators will be receiving Thank You letters on behalf of Hopkinton students this June. Would you like your child's teacher to be among them?

The Thank-A-Teacher program is a great way to recognize your child's teacher and tell them that you appreciate all the work that they've done this year.

To participate, go to the Hopkinton Education Foundation website and download this form. Thank-A-Teacher donations can be mailed until June 13th.

Library Foundation’s Touch-A-Truck Raises Over $4,000

Over 500 children and their families attended Hopkinton Public Library Foundation’s Third Annual Touch-A-Truck on Sunday, June 8, 2014. The event, held at Hopkinton High School, raised over $4,000 for the renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library. Children could see and climb on trucks, construction and emergency vehicles from American Climbers, Gentle Giant Moving Company, Greenwood Landscaping, Holliston Oil Service, the Hopkinton Police Department, McIntyre Loam, Inc., Norton & Haines Transportation, Scott’s Landscaping, Inc., and Scott Septic, Inc.

Heather's Ride 2014!

Welcome back to Friends 4 Eva and the Heather Lynne Siebert Memorial Ride.

The 2014 ride will be held on July 19th at Laconia Harley Davidson in Meredith New Hampshire. We will begin staging and registration at 7:30 am with kick stands up at 9:00 am sharp. Your registration/donation of $35.00 per person will include all the fixens for a great day!!! T-shirt, live music from a local band and more food than you can imagine. And lots of great raffle prizes too! Pre-register before July 12th and get $5.00 off! The rain date if needed will be Sunday July 20th.
