Editorial: Supporting Jean Bertschmann for School Committee

By contributor,

I am writing to support the reelection of Jean Bertschmann for School Committee. I know Jean ‘in passing.’ I have run into her at every school event, literally every event, over the last ten years and in the last six years have had multiple conversations with her before or after each of the district’s searches for new Principals, Superintendents, and most recently, the hiring of our new Director of Student Services (SpEd Director).

Fire Alarm Repairs Complete at Hopkins

By contributor,

Dear Families,

I am pleased to share with you information that our fire alarm system has been repaired. Much of the work took place before the vacation, and the final check took place earlier this week. All systems are fully operational.

There was a specific part of the control panel that needed to be replaced. The rest of the system will be fully serviced and updated during the summer months.

Respectfully,
Tim Kearnan
