Hiller Girls Tennis 3-0 Beating Medway

Hiller Girls Varsity Tennis Team hosted the Medway Mustangs on Wednesday a took them in 5 straight sets. Maria Parfenova had her first varsity start, winning at second doubles with Devon LaMachia 6-2, 6-2. The Hillers League Record is 1-0 and Overall Record: 3-0. The Lady Hillers will be off practicing during their April Break and will return to Action on Monday, April 27 when they travel to Ashland for a 3:30 pm match.

Currently on display at the Hopkinton Center for the arts is the artwork of 11 student artists from Hopkinton High School who were chosen by instructors and peers to have their work displayed as part of the Hopkinton High School Honors art exhibit

Brian Karp Announces Run for School Committee

Dear Hopkinton Residents,

My name is Brian Karp, and I am pleased to announce my candidacy for School Committee.  My decision to run came after the School Committee approved the 2015-2016 school calendar eliminating traditional days off for religious holidays.  I believe that the School Committee's action erodes family values − values that help make our community strong.  

Lady Raquets Win 2nd Match

The Hopkinton High School Girls Tennis beat Rockets in Auburn on Monday 5-0 winning their second non league game of the season making their record 2-0.

An outstanding performance by the Lady Hillers as they swept all 5 matches in 2 sets.

Vanessa Prathab #1 Singles won 6-1, 6-1. Zoe Komodromos #2 Singles won 6-0, 6-0. Elisabeth Cooperman #3 Singles won 6-0, 6-0.

At #1 Doubles Sydney and Laney Emerson won 6-0, 6-0. At #2 Doubles Olivia Centrella and Devon LaMachia won 6-2, 6-1.

Hillers are at home on Wednesday as they host the Medway Mustangs at 3:30 pm.

Fire Alarms Down at Hopkins

Dear Hopkins Families,

At 8:40 this morning it was brought to our attention that our school’s fire alarm system was inoperable. We immediately notified the Superintendent’s Office, the Fire Chief, and the Hopkins School Crisis Response Team. Teachers and staff were also notified individually that in case of emergency we would utilize other modes of communication, as we have practiced and discussed as part of our school emergency procedures.

Jon Graziano seeking re-election to the School Committee

Dear Hopkinton Residents:

I am pleased to announce that I am seeking re-election to the Hopkinton School Committee this May. I’m extremely proud of the work that the School Committee has done in my first term. I believe that my experience and my approach to problem-solving have proven effective. These will continue to be essential while collaborating with other town boards and departments to face the challenges that our district will confront in the coming years.

Volunteer Application of Interest for Advisory Group 2016-2017 School Calendar

Director of Student Services Finalist Announced

Hopkinton Superintendent, Dr. Cathy MacLeod, is pleased to announce that she and members of the administrative team have identified an outstanding candidate for further consideration for the position of Director of Student Services. The process began with initial interviews held by a Screening Committee, which included representation from building level administration, professional teaching and specialized instructional support staff, as well as a parent representative.

5th Annual Friends of Hopkinton Football Golf Outing

A fundraiser to support the Hiller Football Program will be held on Monday, June 29, 2015 at Shining Rock Country Club in Northdbridge with an 8:00 AM-Shotgun Start.

The cost is $150 per player ($125 for graduates within 5 years of HHS)

Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, gift, barbecue lunch, raffle prizes, and auction items.

You can register as a foursome or individually or Sponsor a Hole ($100 per hole).
