Video: Razors Edge Salon Cuts Ribbon on New Location and Celebrates 30 Years

Razor's Edge hosted a ribbon cutting Friday evening for the grand opening of their new location and to celebrate 30 years in business. Owner, Lauren Fitzgerald cut the ribbon to welcome the new location. The salon was formally located at 85 main street and now is located in a brand new building at the 42 Main Street plaza. Snappy Dogs Celebrates 7 Years in Business

Snappy Dogs hot dog stand announced they are celebrating 7 years in business on their Facebook page. The locally renowned hot dog stand started their business with a space on the 61 Main Street lot at the former Colella's. Last year when CVS leased the property, the hot dog stand was permitted to stay, but with the opening of CVS, they moved to Weston Nurseries at 93 East Main St. The owners stated at first they were a bit nervous if they would be as busy at the new location but mentioned they are very happy with the results throughout the summer.

Hillers @ Westwood is candidate for Fox 25 Friday Night High School Game of the Week

This coming Fridays, Hopkinton VS Westwood game is a candidate for the Fox 25 game of the week! Support the Hillers and vote here! The game is a road game for the Hillers at Westwood high school and kicks off at 7pm. Last year when the teams met up in Hopkinton, Westwood came back to beat Hopkinton in the closing minutes of the game.

Free Pasta Dinner at St. Paul’s September 28

The September Community Pasta Supper at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 61 Wood Street (Rte. 135) will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28. All are welcome to this event, which is being supported by the churches of the Hopkinton Christian Service Connection. This pasta supper is held for the community on the last Wednesday of every month.

The meal will feature pasta (gluten free available), vegetarian tomato sauce, meatballs on the side, green salad, bread, beverages, and dessert.
The pasta supper is free, although donations will be accepted.

Charter Review Committee to Hold Public Forum

A Public Forum to solicit input and feedback from Hopkinton citizens regarding any potential changes to the Town’s Charter will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 7:00p.m. at the HCAM-TV Studio located at 77 Main Street, Lower Level. The Public Forum will be broadcast live on HCAM-TV at Verizon Channel 30 and Comcast Channel 8 and will stream online at www.hcam.tv/live. Call-in and email questions and/or input will be accepted during the broadcast at 508-625-1640 or pwaxlax@hopkintonma.gov.

Whether you're an experienced colorist or just interested in seeing what's so popular about the new big thing, join us on Wednesday, September 28 at 65 South Street for a drop-in evening of relaxing coloring! Colored pencils, markers, and pictures to color will be provided - or bring your own materials if you prefer. The event starts at 6:30 PM and is for high schoolers and adults.
