Asphalt paving is scheduled for Benson Rd & Kimball Rd on Friday July 15 and Saturday July 16 (if needed). Work hours will be 7am-7pm on Friday and 7am-5pm on Saturday (if needed).

Please expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.

Legislature Passes Balanced Fiscal Year 2017 Budget, Includes Funding for Hopkinton

(BOSTON) Senate Ways & Means Chair Karen Spilka (D-Ashland) announced today that the Massachusetts Legislature enacted a $39.146 billion state budget for Fiscal Year 2017 yesterday that invests in key areas related to local aid, education, children’s health and safety, housing, health and human services, workforce training and economic development. The budget reflects a conservative tax revenue outlook and focuses on opportunities for savings while preserving key programs and services, with emphasis on preserving local funding.

Do you remember Schoolhouse Rock from the 70s? You know, the Saturday morning cartoon that mixed in a whole bunch of educational things when you weren't looking.

Well, it's back ... as a fun musical, right here at Hopkinton High School. With an early show for the little ones (3 pm) and an evening performance that same night, this one is a toe-tapping crowd pleaser.

Teaching Approach: My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a relationship between the student and the piano that is a lifelong source of joy and discovery. I continually look for music that inspires the student at any skill level and I set small, easily achievable goals that allow the student to feel motivated by his or her own success. My goal is to guide the student on a path toward self-expression, having fun while learning, and overcoming challenges through organization and consistency.

On this edition of HCAM News, in an effort to further beautify Hopkinton, the Gateway green project officially launched, a brand new restaurant officially opened in town, the Sharon Timlin 5K had another successful year of raising funds to fight ALS and the Hopkinton Library foundation hosted their annual Touch a truck event, but first, at the Board of Selectmen meeting, a public forum was held to discuss town trash and recycling options going forward.
