Attention All Organizations Who Wish to Participate in Hopkinton Family Day

Hello again to those of you who previously participated in the Hopkinton Family Day event and to some new groups we have included in this notice. This year Family Day is on Sept. 14th starting at 3 pm. We had a great response last year and we hope to hear from you by June 15. Please respond by filling out and returning the attached Sign up form. I am including a few reminders and also a list of last year activities.

Town Moderator, Thomas Garabedian - 1,064.
Parks & Recreation, Cynthia S. Esthimer - 869,
Commissioners of Trust Funds, Susan M. Kurys - 1272,
Planning Board (2 Years), Robert C. Benson Jr. - 975.
All 4 ballot questions passed.

2019 Hopkinton Town Election Results Live on Monday May 20th!

On Monday May 20th at 8pm, Tom Nappi and Mike Torosian will bring you the 2019 Hopkinton Town Election Results live on HCAM. The Broadcast will be available on HCAM TV (Comcast: Channel 8, Verizon: Channel 30) and also available at www.hcam.tv/live. The broadcast will feature the reading of the results by Town Clerk, Connor Degan, interviews with candidates plus more!

Thousands Marching on the State House for 5:00 p.m. Rally for Public Education Funding

BOSTON – Thousands of students, educators, parents, and other supporters of public education are beginning to arrive on Boston Common for a 5:00 p.m. rally and march around the State House to demand passage of bills that would increase state funding for preK-12 public schools by more than $1 billion a year and for public colleges and universities by more than $500 million a year.

Job Posting: Intermittent Laborer

The Town of Hopkinton seeks Intermittent Laborers for 40 hours per week available to work between approximately May 13th through August 30th to perform the following duties:

Lawn mowing
Weed trimming
Miscellaneous property cleanups
Other maintenance-type related duties

Qualifications:
Ability to drive a one-ton dump truck with trailer
Prior experience with landscaping and/or maintenance
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
